You are required to prepare your case study and answer before session commencement

This session will understand the building blocks of the Toyota Production System (TPS), which was the basis for Lean Manufacturing. Our discussion will explore how and how much TPS contributed to Toyota’s performance, and why it was difficult for other automotive manufacturers to replicate TPS. We will also examine the application of these principles to concepts like safety and resilience (or risk management) in operations. Study Questions
