    Sampling means selecting the group that you will actually collect data from in your research. For example, in quantitative research that requires feedback from some population of interest, the researcher needs to define a group of people called the sampling frame that represents the population of interest. As it would not be possible for the research to interview or collect feedback from every single person in that population, a selection from this population is needed to facilitate the research.

    For my research for the MBA-ODL program, my sample would be the employees from the IT industry. Meaning the respondents would be an existing employee of the IT company or working in the IT department of a non IT company. This is as my research is looking at the effectiveness of blended learning in upskilling employees in the IT industry.
