Research design is the overall strategy or the structure of our study/research. Or in other words on how we want to interpret the problem like listing out the question and the solution or how we arrange to collect or analyze the data in structured manner.
By using a questionnaire, we are able to understand more, and we can plan on how are we going to conduct the research. For example, we examine what is the purpose of the study, what are the sources needed, what type of sampling should be used, how the data can be analysed. In research designing, need to go through few phrases first we need to specify the problem of our study. Next, we need to frame the design of our study. Then we can proceed for planning the sample. Once we have the sample planning, we can proceed to collect the data. With the data collected, we can start to analyze it. After the completion, we can proceed with writing the report of our study.
An effective research design considers the project’s goals, research questions, and restrictions such as data availability, time, and money.
