Hello Mr. Paramjeet, my fellow coursemates. My name is Qairul Muzzammil, you can call me Qairul or Muzzammil or Bentong (a nick name stuck from my Secondary school days). Guess you already know where I came from. Currently I’m residing at outskirts of Subang (because not many people know where Jenjarom is).

I have graduated from Akita University in Japan, with degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have been working more than 10 years, all related to Japanese company or custoers in one way or another.

Currently I’m working as Project Manager in DXC, not in Managerial level yet I would say (except the roles I’m playing).

I’m embarking on this journey for MBA for upskill myself and as an extra edge for my career advancement.

I believe organizational behaviour knowledge will allow me to understand further the relations between personal and organisations, and how to harmonize the gap between these two, and move forward as a strong entity.

Hi Mr Paramjeet and my fellow coursemates, my name is Ariva, the longer/correct version will be Arivalagan Mathyvanan.

I graduated from UNITEN (Kajang), majoring in Electrical & Electronics Communication engineering.

I am in Klang Valley – and been in IT field for the past 10++ years. (yes I know engineering didn’t do much justice for me).

MBA was something that I have been planning ever since I completed my Bachelors, but due to various reasons the plan didn’t kick start- now that I had a lot of time to spare at home thanks to the pandemic, I was thinking this the time.

Of course, MBA would be essential for me to move forward in my career, be it being in managerial position or not.

Hi Mr Paramjeet and fellow classmates.

My name is Ida Farisha but please call me Ida. I am from Taiping, Perak but please do not ask me to be your tour guide in Taiping because I don’t even know where are the touristic places in Taiping. Went to boarding school in Ipoh, matriculation in Penang and did my degree in MMU Cyberjaya afterwards majoring in Software Engineering.

I have been working for 13 years now, but in DXC close to 8 years as SAP BW & ABAP Consultant. I was a Team Leader before, managing a project team of 8 people for 4 years until the client have decided to build their own in-house IT Team. Now I am back doing technical work under FGV Project. I would say my career has been progressing really good. I am already on the track to be future manager – but I guess in this current climate, only time will tell.

Honestly, I would never have thought to take MBA until DXC is willing to sponsor us and amazingly I am enjoying all the knowledge I have learnt so far. I know that everything I am learning in this program will make me a better leader and I have already started to apply it in my daily work and interactions. Now the aspiration is to continue with Doctorate later on. No one in my family has a Dr. title yet, and I am aiming to be the first!

    Dear all,

I am Jessy Ng from Kota Bharu, Kelantan. I graduated from UTAR’s Degree in Communications & Networking (IT), but when I came out to work, the nearest I got to IT was becoming an IT recruiter. 😁 I transitioned from recruitment into business operations 3 years ago but have not held any leadership role.

The reason I took up MBA is because the course contains a lot of subjects relevant to my work which I have never been theoretically exposed before, and also because I feel it would be helpful for me to pursue my aspiration in talent and resource management moving forward.

Strategic Decision Making and Management is very relatable to my current role now in Business Operations. By learning that, I wish to be able to take initiative in helping my part of the business reach the organization’s goals and objectives, as competition also lies within the organization itself. My goal is to help my center achieve a sustainable strategic competition within the organization, and in the market. 💪
